No Entry Sequel Confirmed: New Cast to Take Over in 2024

The iconic comedy film “No Entry,” released in 2005, is set to receive a long-awaited sequel nearly two decades later. The original, directed by Anees Bazmee and featuring a star-studded cast led by Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, and Fardeen Khan, became a cult classic and the year’s highest-grossing film.

Fresh Faces for a New Generation

According to a source close to the production, filming for “No Entry 2” is expected to begin in December 2024 and wrap up by June 2025. This new installment will be a Zee Studios – Bayview production and will mark a significant departure from the original cast. Director Anees Bazmee remains on board for writing and directing duties, but the lead roles will be entrusted to a fresh trio: Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor, and Diljit Dosanjh.

Excitement Brews with a Hint of Controversy

Reports suggest an exciting script with a comedic twist has garnered enthusiasm from all parties involved. This theatrical release in 2025 will mark the 20th anniversary of the original film’s success. However, the casting news has stirred controversy.

Anil Kapoor’s Reported Disappointment

According to reports, Anil Kapoor, who played a pivotal role in the first film, is reportedly upset with his brother Boney Kapoor, the producer, over the casting choices. The original film also featured prominent roles for actresses Esha Deol, Lara Dutta, Bipasha Basu, and Celina Jaitly.

Boney Kapoor revealed that Anil expressed a desire to be involved in the sequel, but unfortunately, there wasn’t a suitable role for him. He further stated that the news leaked online prematurely, causing friction between the brothers. Boney intends to explain his decisions to Anil, but the current situation suggests a strained relationship.
