Recyclekaro, a frontrunner in India’s e-waste and lithium-ion battery recycling industry, is pioneering a revolutionary approach with the launch of the country’s first Plasma Furnace Technology Unit. This state-of-the-art technology marks a significant leap forward in responsible waste management and metal extraction.

Plasma Furnace Technology utilizes high-intensity plasma arcs to efficiently extract valuable metals from diverse waste streams. This innovative method offers a cleaner and more sustainable alternative to traditional recycling processes. The new unit boasts a capacity of 7,500 metric tonnes, significantly bolstering Recyclekaro’s e-waste recycling capabilities.

Recovering Precious Metals for a Greener Future

The Plasma Furnace Technology facilitates the efficient recovery of precious metals such as gold, silver, platinum, palladium, and rare earth elements from electronic waste and industrial byproducts. With this new technology, Recyclekaro anticipates a near tenfold increase in its e-waste recycling capacity, reaching an impressive 75,000 metric tonnes annually.

Challenging China’s Dominance in Rare Earth Elements

By adopting Plasma Furnace Technology, Recyclekaro aims to challenge China’s longstanding dominance in rare earth element (REE) production. The company aspires to achieve an annual production of 1 to 1.5 MT of REEs, contributing to a more diversified and secure supply chain.

Plasma Furnace Technology operates at extreme temperatures ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 degrees Celsius. This allows for expedited processing times and superior metal recovery rates compared to conventional methods. The anticipated 90% increase in efficiency and productivity positions Recyclekaro to make a substantial impact on metal extraction while upholding the highest standards of sustainability and adhering to regulatory requirements.

A Commitment to Responsible Operations

The Plasma Furnace Technology Unit incorporates cutting-edge machinery, ensuring cost-effective and environmentally friendly operations. Strict adherence to stringent environmental and safety protocols remains a top priority for Recyclekaro.

Beyond Recycling: A Broader Impact

This technological advancement extends beyond its immediate application in e-waste recycling. The Plasma Furnace Technology Unit presents exciting economic opportunities for India, fostering the circular economy, job creation, and continued advancements in the field of sustainable waste management. By embracing innovation, Recyclekaro is setting a new standard for responsible resource recovery and environmental stewardship.
