Go Zero, a pioneering ice cream brand dedicated to offering guilt-free indulgence, has secured an additional $1.5 million in funding. This latest round, a follow-on to their pre-Series A funding, strengthens Go Zero’s position in the growing healthy dessert market.

Building on Early Success with Established Investors

The funding round was led by returning investors DSG Consumer Partners, Saama Capital, and V3 Ventures, demonstrating their continued confidence in Go Zero’s innovative approach. The round also welcomed participation from prominent angel investor Arjun Purkayastha, further solidifying the company’s appeal. This successful fundraising follows Go Zero’s initial $1 million pre-Series A round secured in August 2023.

A Diverse Product Portfolio for Health-Conscious Consumers

Founded by Kiran Shah, Go Zero caters to a growing demand for healthier dessert options. Their product portfolio boasts a variety of low-calorie, high-protein, and vegan ice creams, all sweetened with plant-based alternatives for a guilt-free indulgence.

Rapid Expansion Across Distribution Channels

Since its launch less than two years ago, Go Zero has established a robust presence across India. The brand’s ice cream is currently available in 16 cities and over 125 dark stores, strategically positioned for efficient delivery. Additionally, Go Zero has capitalized on the e-commerce boom, establishing a strong presence on both quick commerce and traditional e-commerce platforms.

Impressive Growth Trajectory Positions Go Zero for Leadership

Go Zero’s commitment to quality and innovation has translated into impressive growth. The company reports a remarkable 4x year-over-year increase in revenue for fiscal year 2024 compared to the previous year. Furthermore, Go Zero has experienced a surge in demand through quick commerce channels, boasting a staggering 7x growth rate in just five months this summer.

A Competitive Landscape for Healthy Indulgence

Go Zero operates in a dynamic market with established players like Hocco and NIC. Last year, NIC secured $11 million in growth funding led by Jungle Ventures, while Hocco recently garnered $12 million from the Chona family and other investors. Despite the competition, Go Zero’s unique product offerings and focus on accessibility position them well for continued success.
