Assembly, a rising travel brand, has successfully secured $2.1 million in funding to propel its growth trajectory. Led by Prath Ventures, this investment marks the third successful deployment from their inaugural fund. The round also attracted participation from prominent investors like Anicut Capital, Blume Founders Fund, and a select group of angel investors.

Fueling Growth Across Key Areas

This fresh capital injection will empower Assembly to execute its ambitious plans. The brand has earmarked the funds for strategic investments across various areas. These include expanding their product portfolio, bolstering marketing and branding efforts, and fortifying its product development and operational teams.

Capitalizing on the Travel Boom

Saptarishi Sen, Vice President of Prath Ventures, highlighted the surge in domestic and international travel as a key driver behind their investment decision. This upswing has created a significant opportunity within the travel goods sector.

“Voyagers are progressively looking for baggage and travel frill that flawlessly coordinate with their ways of life,”explained Sen. “This trend has paved the way for the emergence of innovative travel brands like Assembly.”

He further elaborated on Assembly’s competitive edge, citing their robust supply chain and commitment to design aesthetics. “We accept Gathering is strategically set up to exploit this developing pattern,” Sen concluded. “We are excited to join forces with them as they lay down a good foundation for themselves as a main challenger brand in the baggage market.”

Building a Mass-Premium Travel Gear Brand

Founded in 2019 by Aditya Khanna and Mohit Garg, Assembly has carved a niche in the travel gear market by offering premium-quality products at accessible prices. Their product portfolio encompasses a wide range of travel essentials, including luggage, backpacks, and various travel accessories.
