The Ayurveda Experience (TAE), a leading direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand focused on Ayurvedic products and wellness solutions, has secured $27 million in a Series C funding round.

The funding round was spearheaded by Jungle Ventures, a prominent Singapore-based venture capital firm. Additional participation came from existing investors SIDBI Ventures, Anicut Capital, and Sharrp Ventures (Mariwala Family Office). This latest investment brings TAE’s total capital raised to over $41 million.

Solidifying Global Presence and Expanding Offerings

The Gurugram-based company plans to leverage the fresh capital to solidify its global footprint and invest in research and development (R&D) capabilities. Additionally, TAE aims to strengthen customer engagement strategies and explore new distribution channels to reach a wider audience.

Pioneering Modern Ayurveda

Founded in 2010 by Rishabh Chopra, TAE manufactures and sells a variety of Ayurvedic-inspired skincare, wellness products, and dietary supplements. These offerings include face oils, moisturizers, and supplements. The company encompasses four distinct product lines: iYURA, Ajara, A Modernica Naturalis, and Ayuttva. Beyond products, TAE provides a comprehensive range of services including Ayurvedic consultations, educational content, webinars, and courses.

Direct-to-Consumer Model Drives Growth

Currently, The Ayurveda Experience caters to customers in 20 countries, including India. The company boasts that over 97% of its sales occur directly through its app and website, highlighting the success of its D2C model. This strategy, coupled with ongoing product diversification and global expansion efforts, has fueled TAE’s impressive growth trajectory.

In December 2022, TAE secured an additional $6 million in funding. The company emphasizes its commitment to long-term, sustainable growth by continuously optimizing its core business functions.
