Adarsh highlighted the film’s “excellent total” in its extended first week, fueled by strong word-of-mouth and enthusiastic audience reception. Despite the T20 World Cup final competing for viewership, Kalki 2898 AD maintained strong weekday collections, exceeding Rs 10 crore each day.

Record-Breaking Run

Kalki 2898 AD’s dominance extends beyond the domestic box office. In just nine days, the film amassed a staggering Rs 513.80 crore gross worldwide, shattering records for Indian films. This achievement surpasses Prabhas’ previous blockbuster, Baahubali, which now holds the second-place spot. Released on June 27, 2024, Kalki 2898 AD has already surpassed the Rs 800 crore mark in global earnings, a testament to its widespread appeal.
