Disney Star, the official broadcaster of IPL 2024, has revealed impressive viewership figures for the ongoing cricket extravaganza. According to Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) data, the cumulative reach for live IPL broadcasts has reached a staggering 44.8 crore viewers for the first 22 days (26 matches). This translates to a total watch time of 18,800 crore minutes, a significant increase compared to previous seasons.

Strong Growth Compared to Last Year

Disney Star reported an 8% increase in cumulative reach for live broadcasts compared to the previous IPL season. Match ratings (TVR) have also seen a notable 15% growth, indicating stronger audience engagement.

The match drew a massive audience of 14.75 crore viewers on television, who collectively spent over 1,017 crore minutes glued to their screens watching IPL coverage on the Disney Star Network.
