Woodsmen Mountain Whiskey, the brainchild of Ginglani Distillers, has secured Rs 12.5 crore in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Ahmedabad-based firms Finfirst Group and Anthill Ventures.

Several prominent figures participated in the round, showcasing their belief in Woodsmen Mountain Whiskey’s potential. These included Nikhil Vora (Sixth Sense Ventures), Baymore Ventures, Claris Capital, Shantanu Deshpande (Bombay Shaving Company), and Chaitanya Rathi (formerly of Sula Vineyards). Notably, existing investors Nitin Kaushal and Chakradhar Gade, founders of Country Delight, also increased their investments.

Ginglani Distillers plans to leverage the funding for strategic growth initiatives. This includes strengthening distribution networks in existing markets and venturing into new ones. The company also aims to invest in infrastructure development and product innovation. Notably, they have embarked on the development of a single malt whiskey line.
