Cleartrip has announced the appointment of Anuj Rathi as its new Chief Business and Growth Officer. This update was shared by Rathi himself in a LinkedIn post on Thursday. Rathi, who has an extensive background with Flipkart, most recently held the position of Chief Product and Marketing Officer at the fintech company Jupiter. He succeeds Ayyappan R, another former Flipkart executive, who departed from Cleartrip earlier this year.
Leadership Changes at Cleartrip
Following the exit of Ayyappan R, Cleartrip was left without a chief executive, creating a significant leadership gap. This void was further deepened by the resignation of Chief Financial Officer Aditya Agarwal, adding to the instability at the travel booking company.
Rathi’s Vision for Cleartrip
In his LinkedIn post, Rathi conveyed his excitement about joining the travel sector and collaborating with the Cleartrip team. He is committed to building and inspiring a high-caliber team to propel the company’s growth and bolster its status as a cherished brand in India.
