Avanse Financial Services, a prominent non-banking financial company (NBFC) specializing in education financing, announced securing ₹1,000 crore in fresh capital on Tuesday. This funding injection will empower Avanse to solidify its position within the dynamic education finance sector.

Investment Led by Mubadala Investment Company

The funding round was spearheaded by Mubadala Investment Company, a leading investment firm headquartered in Abu Dhabi. Avendus PE Investment Advisors Private Ltd also participated in the round through their Avendus Future Leaders Fund II.

Focus on Customer Experience and Profitability

Avanse intends to leverage this capital infusion to strengthen its presence in the education financing sector. The company’s strategic priorities include crafting exceptional customer experiences and achieving long-term, profitable growth.

Commitment to Education Sector

Beyond student loans, Avanse has also provided growth and working capital to Indian educational institutions, demonstrating their dedication to supporting the education sector as a whole. As of December 2023, Avanse boasts a robust portfolio with assets under management (AUM) exceeding ₹12,147 crore.
