Uniqus Consultech, a global consulting firm specializing in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Climate Advisory services, has successfully secured $10 million in Series B funding. This latest round follows a successful Series A funding of $12.5 million raised in December 2022, led by the same investors – Nexus Venture Partners and Sorin Investments.

Fresh Funds to Accelerate Growth Strategy

“This funding round empowers us to significantly expand our solutions portfolio, explore new markets, and propel our growth trajectory even faster,” stated Jamil Khatri, Co-Founder & CEO of Uniqus. The company currently operates in three key markets: India, West Asia, and the United States.

Strong Demand Drives Ambition

“We’ve witnessed an exceptionally strong demand environment across all our markets since our launch in December 2022,” shared Khatri. “Our adoption of new solutions has surpassed our initial expectations, fueled in part by the growing Gen-AI movement.” Significant consultancy prospects in the field of Generative AI (Gen-AI) are observed by Uniqus.

Focus on AI Integration and Risk Management

The company plans to establish a dedicated practice focused on AI technology risk management consulting services. “We aim to assist companies in implementing and leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) effectively while also helping them manage potential risks associated with this technology,” explained Khatri. “The Series B funding allows us to fast-track our expansion into these adjacent areas.”

AI Practice Launch and Revenue Growth Projections

Uniqus anticipates launching its AI-focused practice in July 2024. Encouraged by the robust demand environment, the company has revised its revenue targets upward. Aiming for $100 million in revenue by 2026, compared to the previously projected 2027 target date, Uniqus is bullish on its near-term growth. “We’ve now set our sights on achieving $150 million in revenue by 2027, and we’re confident of accomplishing this with our existing team of 1,200 professionals,” said Khatri. Uniqus also anticipates closing the current calendar year with revenues exceeding $30 million.
