Rural E-Commerce Startup Rozana Secures $22.5 Million Funding
Rozana, a rural e-commerce platform based in India, recently announced a successful funding round of $22.5 million. This round, led by Bertelsmann India Investments (BII), also saw participation from Fireside Ventures and existing investors.
Expansion Plans Fueled by Funding
The newly acquired capital will be strategically used by Rozana to bolster its logistics and supply chain infrastructure. This includes expanding their warehousing and logistics network to reach new districts, enhancing their technology platform, and growing their team across technology, product, and operations departments.
Ankur Dahiya, CEO and Co-founder of Rozana, expressed the company’s commitment to empowering rural communities by stating, “With this funding, we will continue building out our logistics and supply chain infrastructure to reach new districts and empower rural communities with access to essential products.”

Utilizing a network of over 18,000 peer partners, Rozana presently operates in 13 districts throughout the states of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.
