The funding round was spearheaded by leading venture capital firms SVQuad and Inventus Capital, demonstrating their confidence in PineGap.ai’s potential. Additional contributions came from DeVC and a distinguished group of Silicon Valley entrepreneurs, including Mohit Aron (Founder of Cohesity/Nutanix), Vetri Vellore (Founder of Ally.io), and Mohan Kumar (Managing Partner at Avataar Ventures). Notably, participation from Wall Street executives further underscores the industry’s interest in PineGap.ai’s innovative approach.

AI-Powered Platform for Extracting Insights from Public Filings

PineGap.ai is dedicated to transforming how equity research analysts work. Their solution equips analysts in hedge funds, mutual funds, and investment banks with an advanced AI platform. This platform, powered by PineGap.ai’s proprietary deep reasoning technology called Pine-LLM, analyzes and interprets data from public company filings, extracting valuable insights for informed decision-making.

PineGap.ai boasts a leadership team with a wealth of experience and knowledge. Deepak Sharma, an alumnus of IIT-BHU, spearheads the company as CEO. The Chief Business Officer is Ankit Varmani, who has over 15 years of expertise on Wall Street. The Head of Artificial Intelligence and founding engineer, Avijit Thawani, contributes his knowledge of generative AI/LLMs from his doctoral studies at USC.
