Aaryan Shukla, a student at Delhi Public School Nashik, has made history by establishing a Guinness World Record for the ‘quickest time to mentally add 50 five-digit numbers.’

FROM MIND MATH WHIZ TO GLOBAL RECORD HOLDER

Affectionately dubbed the ‘Human Calculator,’ Aaryan Shukla has delved into the realm of mental arithmetic since the age of six. His path to the Guinness World Record is marked by a string of remarkable achievements, notably winning the title of ‘World Champion’ at the 2022 Mental Calculation World Cup in Paderborn, Germany, at just 12 years old.

Even at the age of eight, Aaryan demonstrated his mental calculation prowess while representing India at the ‘Memorial Turkey Open Championship – 2018’ in Istanbul, Turkey. There, he secured an impressive collection of medals, including 7 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze, alongside setting two Kids World Records. To date, Aaryan holds the record for the highest number of medals earned in a single competition at Memorial.

A Young Visionary: Aaryan Creates a Platform for Mental Math Enthusiasts (GMCA)

In addition to his personal accomplishments, Aaryan co-founded the Global Mental Calculators Association (GMCA), a distinguished international organization dedicated to promoting and enhancing mental arithmetic skills worldwide. Notably, he assumed this role at the age of 13.
