Dulquer Salmaan enthusiasts have reason to celebrate as the eagerly anticipated suspense family drama, Lucky Baskhar, is set to premiere three weeks earlier than planned. Directed by Venky Atluri, the film was initially scheduled for release on September 27 but will now debut on September 7, coinciding with the festive occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.

On Monday night, Dulquer Salmaan shared this interesting update on his virtual entertainment stages. Joined by another still from the film, he posted, “This Vinayaka Chaturthi, Prepare to encounter #LuckyBaskhar’s extraordinary excursion on the Enormous Screens! Overall Great Delivery on seventh SEPT in Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil and Hindi Dialects. #LuckyBaskharOnSept7th.”


Teaser Release and Plot Overview

The film’s teaser, which was released in April, offers a glimpse into the storyline of *Lucky Baskhar*. The plot follows the enthralling journey of an ordinary man, described by Dulquer Salmaan as a ‘common, middle-class Indian man.’ 


Storyline and Setting

Lucky Baskhar focuses on Baskhar, a bank cashier at the fictional Magadha Bank, who is weary of his monotonous life. Set between the late 1980s and early 1990s, Baskhar’s life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters a large sum of money, leaving people curious about how he came into possession of it. Meenakshi plays the role of Baskhar’s love interest in the film.


Cast and Production Details

In addition to Dulquer Salmaan, the film features Meenakshi Chaudhary, Ayaan Sohan, and Kishore Raju Vasistha in significant roles. Given Dulquer’s widespread popularity, Lucky Baskhar will be released in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi.
