Boon, a pioneering water technology enterprise, has successfully secured a substantial injection of capital amounting to five million dollars in its Series A funding round. This investment, a blend of equity and debt, was spearheaded by Roca Group Ventures, a prominent venture capital firm based in Spain. This marks a significant milestone for Roca Group Ventures, as it represents their inaugural investment in the Indian startup ecosystem. Notably, Roca Group has a substantial presence in India through its acquisition of Parryware in 2008.

Expanding Horizons with Fresh Capital

Building upon its previous fundraising success of securing one point six million dollars in February 2021, Boon is poised to accelerate its growth trajectory. The newly acquired funds will be strategically allocated to amplify its cutting-edge AI-powered Waterlo platform, as outlined in a recent company announcement.

Revolutionizing Water Purification with Technology

Founded in 2015 by the visionary duo of Vibha Tripathy and Advait Kumar, Boon, formerly recognized as Swajal, has been at the forefront of developing innovative water purification, monitoring, and dispensing solutions. The company’s proprietary technology, centered around predictive filter maintenance utilizing artificial intelligence, ensures optimal efficiency and dependability of water purification systems. By offering sustainable alternatives to plastic-packaged water, Boon is leading the charge towards a greener future.

Delivering Clean Water Solutions to Diverse Sectors

This groundbreaking technology enables precise quality adjustments, setting a new benchmark for water purity. The company has successfully established partnerships with a diverse clientele, including prominent offices, hospitals, educational institutions, airports, and railway stations, to provide sustainable hydration solutions. Furthermore, Boon’s pioneering WaterATM, a community-based water purification station, and its premium glass water solutions for the hospitality industry have garnered significant attention.
