A47.in, a young D2C brand specializing in officially licensed merchandise celebrating India’s achievements and institutions, has secured an undisclosed amount of funding from Aditya Pittie. This investment marks a significant turning point for the two-year-old company, propelling it towards accelerated growth and wider outreach.

Bootstrapped Beginnings and Established Partnerships

A47.in, owned by Black White Orange, India’s leading brand licensing and IP management company, began its journey as a bootstrapped venture. Since its launch in August 2021 with the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), the brand has established itself through collaborations with various Indian Armed Forces units like The Indian Infantry, LCA Tejas, and the Flying Instructors School. More recently, they partnered with the aerial action film ‘Fighter’ to pay homage to India’s air force heroes.
